When I started in Internet Marketing and at my first seminar it was recommended that we all read this book called The Secret so I went and found it in my local bookstore.

I started to read and I have to admit that i was captivated, so many illustrious and famous people making comments and contributions about how through the times they lived through the principles of The Secret. I am talking here about people like William Shakespeare, Ab Lincoln, Plato, Henry Ford the list just goes on and then all the modern day business people, public speakers, life coaches, the likes of Bob Proctor,Jack Canfield (he of Chicken Soup for the Soul fame), James Arthur Ray the Harmonic Wealth man, the list is full of intelligent successful people so who am I to argue.

I suppose the bases of the book is The Law of Attraction, which in it’s simplest term means, what you give out as energy you will get back. So if all you think about is debt then thats what you will get. It’s like you await the morning mail expecting a load of bill’s and hey presto the genie say’s your wish is my command.

It’s the art of positive thinking of always feeling good, about yourself and towards other’s. If you keep thinking good thought’s whether it be about money,health,car,boat whatever then the Universe will provide.

Now i know that is hard to believe for all the sceptics out there and I can fully understand that but you owe it to try for yourselves. As Henry Ford said If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right. Profound hey? but so true.

To supliment my income i do some cabbing and believe me it is very quiet this time of the year plus the recession so I had time to sit and finish my second reading of The Secret, I was sitting in one spot for nearly 2 hours without a job but as i finished the book and this wave of positiveness spread over me i decided to move because i now believed The Secret and the Universe would provide.

I started of, now do i drive left or straight so i went to a spot and as i pulled up beep beep beep my XDA went off indicating i had a job, I opened it and there was a £50 job 200 yards away, not only that when i picked the customers up and dropped them the last passenger somehow started talking about the Secret and how since he read it and believed he recieved a large tax rebate and as a struggling actor also landed a contract for a part in a new TV series.

Well that happened 3 more times one after the other, £30, £25, £32, all in the space of 2 and a half hours.

I am now a convert but i find that I have to keep reading the book, it keeps the inspiration going.

I don’t know about you but when I started to try this Internet Marketing stuff I knew one of the basic elements is writing articles. Now I have tried and tried but I can’t seem to manage 5 articles a day.

I have tried doing my own but my old brain just can’t cope with the pressure, in fact my brain hurts!!!

What are the alternatives?

Out source is one and it certainly works once you have found a good honest writer. By good and honest I mean someone who writes the article themselves. You have to be so careful these days. You can find writers in forums and on elance.com I have found a brilliant writer and she is not expensive, You can pay anything from 3 to 10 USD for a 300 word article, so 5 a day will be expensive but you have to work it out. How long will it take you to do 5 articles? Could you spend that time doing something more constructive? Only you know the answer to that one.

You can get loads of free content with PLR and MRR Articles and e books, the trouble here is that every Tom Dick and Harry is doing the same as you. There are ways round it though and the best way is to re write the article yourself. Same content but in completely different words and as you have the rights anyway you are not breaking any laws.

Article Spinners, well I have tried these and I can’t say I am over awed by them. If you put the article in and then only want say 75% of the article spun it just comes out not making any sense so you have to re write the article yourself anyway, and if you want it 100% re written, I can’t even understand some of the grammer it uses so to me they are a waste of time. If anyone reading this knows of any that work I will be interested in your views.

So thats my rant and rave’s about article writing, I guess it’s because I have been sitting here since 13.00 hrs and only managed 1 640 word article lol

Setting Your Goals - Easier Said, Easily Done

The following Tip’s have helped me tremendously toward’s setting and achieving my goals.

I hope it inspire’s you to take action as it did me.

The basics of setting a goal is an open secret known by top-caliber athletes, successful businessmen and businesswomen and all types of achievers in all the different fields. The basics of setting goals give you short-term and long-term motivation and focus. They help you set focus on the acquisition of required knowledge and help you to plan and organize your resources and your time so that you can get the best out of your life.

Setting clearly defined short term and long term goals will enable you to measure your progress and achieve personal satisfaction once you have successfully met your goals. Charting your progress will also enable you to actually see the stages of completion leading to the actual realization of your goals. This eliminates the feeling of a long and pointless grind towards achieving your goal. Your self-confidence and level of competence will also improve as you will be more aware of your capabilities as you complete or achieve your goals.
 
The basics of goal settings will involve deciding what you really want to do with your personal life and what short term and long term goals you need to achieve it. Then you have to break down goals into the smaller and manageable targets that you must complete in your way to achieving your lifetime targets. Once you have your list waste no time in tackling your goals.

A good way to have a manageable list is to have a daily and weekly set of goals. By doing this you will be always in the position of going towards you life plan goals. Everyday will give you the opportunity to fulfill a certain goal giving you the feeling of accomplishment.

Here are some pointers that should be taken into consideration in setting goals and achieving them.

Attitude plays a very big role in setting and achieving your goals. You must ask yourself  if any part of you or your mind holding you back towards completing your simplest goals? If there are any part of your behavior that is being a hindrance or puts your plans into disarray? If you do have problems in these areas then the immediate thing to do is to address this problem. Solutions may include a visit to a doctor or psychiatrist to control your emotions.
 
Careers are made by good time management practice. Failing in a career is often attributed to bad time management. Careers require a lot from an individual which often makes the career the life of the individual. Plan how far do you want to go into your career.

Education is key in achieving your goals. If your goals require you to have a certain kind of degree or require a certain specialization or demand a certain skill to be developed, make plans in getting the appropriate education.

Your family should never be left out of your plans. If you are just starting out then you have to decide if you want to be a parent or when you want to be a parent. You also have to know if you really would be a good parent and how well would you relate to extended family members

Personal financial situations also play a major role in achieving your goals. Have a realistic goal on how much you really want to earn. You also must be able to create plans or stages by which you will be able to reach your earning potential.

Physically gifted individuals may be able to achieve sports related goals like being in the National Basketball association or National Football League. Determining your physical capabilities should be one of your priorities. Physical limitations could however be conquered with proper planning.

You know when you start this Internet Marketing Business and one of the ways to market your product, be it your own or an affilaite product is by Article Marketing.

Your mentor or Home Study Course says the content is easy, just write what you feel. It doesn’t have to be written like a reporter just write the facts in an entertaining and informative manner so you keep the readers attention.

Well that’s all well and good but what if you find it hard to write articles. You sit there just looking at the computer screen your mind empty. Then you write something down, look at it, Nah! that doesn’t look right, so you press delete and sit for another hour thinking, looking at the screen. Get up make a cup of tea look out of the window for some inspiration, nah still blank.!!

Of course you know that to be able to promote yourself or your product you will need at least 6 articles a week and that’s the minimum. A daunting task indeed.

So what are your options, how can you make the task easier?

Well there are several solutions to this perennial problem.

1. Outsource through elance.co or you will find writers in forums related to your niche. It will cost you money, a 300 word article can cost from $3 upwards and you will have to commit to maybe 10 articles to get the best price.

2. Use other writers articles, now i do not mean copy them word for word because that is illegal and will get you into trouble. But you could read the article and then put the substance of the article down in your own words. This will make the article unique to you.

3. Use Article Spinner Softwear there are several on the market and I am at this minute testing one so I will update you when I have evaluated it fully. With these you can copy the article into the softwear and it will automatically re write it using different words and paragraphing to reach the same conclusion.

4. Use PLR and MRR articles and e books. Check what rights you get with these first and then you can segment the e book into articles and use them, always remember to check what rights you have. That was worth saying twice. It’s very important!

There you have my own thoughts on the best way to find content for Articles, I use all of these at some time or other plus sometimes I even write my own.

Also don’t forget the KEYWORDS in your Articles. Now thats a whole new story and one I will write about next time.
